Handing it over with the pages open will make a polite impression. - Wait quietly.
Goshuin are handwritten, so it takes time. It is good etiquette to wait quietly, especially when it is busy. - Don’t forget to express gratitude.
When you receive your goshuin, it is a good idea to add a word of thanks.
The initial fee for a goshuin is 500 yen, but please check with the shrine office for details. It will go more smoothly if you have some coins ready.
